Master of Business Administration (MBA) – University Malawi Programme duration
Students will have a maximum of two years (24 months) to complete the MBA programme. In special circumstances, this may be extended by one year and the postgraduate committee shall decide upon eligibility for such extensions.
Master of Business Administration (MBA) – University Malawi Programme fees
Fees for the MBA programme are 7,650.00 US Dollars for foreign students and an equivalent of 6,650.00 US Dollars paid in Malawi Kwacha for local students. The fees cover tuition and thesis supervision. The amount of fees is subject to change from time to time depending on circumstances prevailing in the economy and the University of Malawi.
Entry Requirements for MBA Programme
- (a) Students who hold a first degree from any recognized University will be eligible for the MBA Programme.
- (b) Applicants who hold first degrees should have at least a degree with a strong pass from the University of Malawi, or its equivalents, and at least three years work experience at a middle management position after obtaining the degree qualification.
- (c) In special circumstances applicants who do not hold first degree but possess relevant professional qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA etc may be considered for the MBA programme. A panel of assessors comprising Head of Management Studies Department, Coordinator of the MBA programme, one subject specialist and Dean of Postgraduate Studies shall decide upon eligibility in these cases.
