BEIT TRUST SCHOLARSHIPS for POSTGRADUATE STUDIES IN 2018

The Beit Trustees offer annually, to graduates under the age of 30 (or 35 in the case of experienced medical doctors and veterinary surgeons). who hold a degree of class 2.1 or better, and are domiciled in Malawi, a number of full Masters Scholarships for Post graduate Studies in your subject of choice to be taken up in the United Kingdom, Ireland or South Africa.
In addition to the above scholarships, awards for several joint-funded taught Masters Degrees may also be offered in UK (Universities of Cambridge, Edinburgh, Glasgow Leeds, Oxford and Strathclyde) and in South Africa (Universities of Cape Town, Rhodes and Stellenbosch)
Outstanding PhD candidates may also exceptionally be considered (courses available for up to 4 academic years). Medical scholarships of more than 2 years’ study at South African universities may likewise be awarded to candidates of outstanding quality.

Only those applicants who state that they will return to work in Malawi upon completion of the Scholarships and who can, if short listed, present themselves for interview in Blantyre in mid November 2017, will be considered. Preference may be given to candidates who already have assured places in their chosen university, and also to applicants with some work experience.
Completed applications must reach The Beit Trust not later than 31st August,2017.
