How to Register

The process of admission to C-DAC’s Diploma course begins with Registration of prospective candidates on the C-DAC website, acts.cdac.in. Upon registering, candidates will get their form number that can be used to login and fill the CET application form online. The form number must be remembered by the candidate as it will be the reference number and login ID of the candidate during the whole admission process. Read carefully the instructions on the C-DAC website while filling the online registration and application forms.
The candidate will get the Form No. and password in his mail id. Once candidates have completed registration, the next step is to log in and fill the CET application form. After filling the application form, candidates have to upload their passport size photograph. The next step is payment of CET application fee that may be paid online or by demand draft. The details of payment are given in the section Application Fee.
The steps successfully completed in the application process are shown with a tick-mark on the main menu of the online application. Candidates facing any issues during the downloading of form or any other query online registration and application may contact C-DAC ACTS, Pune, through phone (020-25503134/143) or e-mail (acts@cdac.in).

Application Fee

Application form can be filled online from the website acts.cdac.in.
The application fees of Rs.600/- (Rupees Six Hundred only) is to be paid through online payment gateway using the credit card or debit card.
The application fees once paid shall not be refunded in any circumstances

CET

The admission to the DASDM course is through a Common Entrance Test (CET). The syllabus of the CET comprises of the following:
Computing Awareness (40 questions)
Functional English (20 questions)
Mathematical Aptitude (20 questions)
Reasoning (20 questions)

Placements

The placement is centralized and shall be conducted in Pune region. The Placements is conducted at the end of the Term 4. The students have to travel to the regional placement centre to which they are attached for further participation in the placement activities. The placement cell in every centre shall help the candidate in providing the placement assistance. The students have to undertake a project work in Term 4 in this course. The placement team shall assist the students in undergoing this project work in the Companies as a internship.
The Invitation for participation in the Common Campus Placement Program is sent to prospective companies well in advance before the campus activity starts. Normally the placement week starts in the First / Second Week of August every year. Once we receive confirmation for participation, we share the database of students with the companies. The ACTS student database along with the query engine is also available to the companies. This will enable the companies across the globe to access the database and shortlist suitable candidates for placement in India and abroad.
Over the past 16 years we have turned out over 80,000 IT Professionals in the field of software development, Very large scale designing and in multimedia designing. These students are well placed in the various IT industries in India and abroad.
We also conduct soft skill classes for the students for an overall personality development by which they improve on their communication skills, presentation skills, Aptitude, Interview techniques, group discussion skills and many other aspects of their personality. They also undergo yoga training for managing the stress they experience during the course and also prepares them for a successful career thereafter.
