CAE |OAA easyJet MPL Program
Building on our long standing partnership, easyJet has selected CAE as one of the launch partners for its new Generation easyJet Pilot Training Programme.
Since 2004, CAE has been a preferred training supplier of the leading airline, covering a wide range of training programmes, including ab intio, type and recurrent training in addition to, pilot recruitment and resourcing services. In 2011, easyJet selected CAE as its exclusive launch partner for its innovative Mentored Airline Pilot Programme for the award of the Multi-Crew Pilot Licence (MPL). To date, CAE has selected, assessed, trained, type-rated and delivered more than 500 pilots through the easyJet MPL and Integrated ATPL programs.
Furthermore, CAE is proud to support easyJet in reaching their planned targets to increase their pilot population by 450 pilots this year and their objective to double the number of new female pilot recruits over the next two years via the easyJet Amy Johnson Flying Initiative.
GENERATION EASYJET PILOT TRAINING PROGRAMME
The Generation easyJet Pilot Training Programme is an innovative pilot training programme that for the first time, offers multiple training routes to become an easyJet pilot, via either a Multi-Crew Pilot Licence (MPL) or Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL).
Once selected by easyJet, aspiring pilots can follow one of four training routes, to reach their ultimate objective of becoming an easyJet co-pilot on an Airbus A320 aircraft.
