Fashion and Design Institute FDI Admission
BTEC FOUNDATION DIPLOMA IN ART AND DESIGN (LEVEL 4)
Students who wish to follow a broad based Art and Design Education that leads them to specialism in Stage 3 and then to HND/BA entry.
Entry requirements

- 3 credits at SC /’O’ level and at least a pass in English AND
- 1 ‘A’ level preferably in Art /Design Related Subject OR
- Mature Candidates with a creative portfolio and at least 2 years working experience in Art and Design
- OR Any equivalent qualification acceptable to FDI Three Credits at SC/‘O’ level and at least a pass in English,
Selection of candidate is based on an interview and presentation of a creative portfolio
Students who wish to follow a specialist field of study in Fashion and Textiles Design at degree level.
BA (HONS) IN FASHION AND TEXTILES DESIGN (TOP UP)
Entry requirements
- HND Fashion and Textiles OR a Diploma in any relevant Design discipline from a recognized institution and as approved by the University
