Crediting
Crediting of licenses, ratings and FI-certificates depends on previous flight experience.
An individual training program based on the table below will be sent to CAA Norway for approval. All flight training towards the CPL IR(A) ME will take place in a G1000-equipped DA40NG and/or C172 FNPT/II, and DA42. Flight training towards the FI-certificate will take place in a DA40NG.
Crediting of military licenses towards EASA is from 8th April 2016 no longer possible
CPL IR(A) ME
Pre entry requirements:
1. ICAO licenses and ratings equaling EASA CPL IR(A) ME
2. Valid license, ratings and priviliges from third country
3. Have passed the written theoretical examinations for an ATPL(A)
4. Have a good understanding of the English language, both spoken and written
5. Be informed about the Norwegian Civil Aviation Authority requirement of a written statement of good conduct (“uttømmende politiattest”). If there is any doubt concerning this, the student shall contact the Norwegian Civil Aviation Authority for evaluation. The statement of good conduct shall not be more than 90 days old at the time of skill test application
6. Have at least 150 hours flight time
7. Have at least 100 hours flight time as a Pilot-In-Command (PIC-hours logged while receiving dual instruction does not count towards the 100 hours)
8. Have completed at least 50 hours cross-country flight time as Pilot-In-Command
9. Have completed a cross-country flight totaling at least 300NM of which full-stop landings at two aerodromes different from the aerodrome of departure shall be made
10. Not have any restrictions for night flying from non-EASA countries, or have completed VFR Night in accordance to PART-FCL
11. Have completed the Safety and Standardisation training described in the Operations Manual, which will be provided by Pilot Flight Academy during the Course
12. Be at least 18 years of age before skill-test application

Costs and content
Depending on previous experience:
Level 1 – Price: NOK 85 000, –
Level 2 – Price: NOK 105 550,-
Level 3 – Price: NOK 139 800,-
Level 4 – Price: NOK 156 550,-
Level 5 – Price: NOK 173 300,-
A sign-on fee of NOK 5.000 is required, but will however be subtracted from the course cost and will therefore not lead to any additional expense. Additional costs for skill test and fees to CAA Norway not included.
