CRI(A)ME
The course consists of 1 week of classroom instruction (teaching and learning), followed by 5 hours of flight training in a DA42NG and DA42VI. In addition, during the course the student is to make and present their own Long briefings. The course ends with an Assessment of Competence with the Norwegian CAA.

FI(A)ME
Applicants holding or having held an instructor certificate will be fully credited towards the teaching and learning part of the theoretical instruction course. Therefore the FI(A)ME course consists of 5 hours of flight training in a DA42NG and DA42VI + Phase briefings. The course ends with an Assessment of Competence with the Norwegian CAA.
Pre Entry Requirements
1. Have completed at least 500 hours flight time as pilot of aeroplanes
2. Completed at least 30 hours as PIC on the applicable type or class of aeroplane
3. Hold a valid Class 1 or Class 2 Medical
4. Have a good understanding of the English language, both spoken and written
5. Have completed the Safety and Standardisation training described in the Operations Manual, which will be provided by Pilot Flight Academy during the course
6. If applying for the FI(A)ME: You need to hold a FI(A).
Accommodation
Pilot Flight Academy assists all coming students in finding housing.
We have different dorm room solutions at the actual airport/school premises, and will forward all enrolled students to further booking of these or other housing alternatives.
Prices will vary with size, private bathroom solution etc, but starts from app. NOK 5000 per month, electricity and WIFI included.
All rooms come with a bed, wardrobe closet and desk, some dorm rooms have a private bathroom. All dorm room facilities are newly decorated and fresh looking.

Cost
Price NOK 44.750,-.
A sign-on fee of NOK 5.000 is required, but will however be subtracted from the course cost and will therefore not lead to any additional expense.
Additional costs for fees to CAA Norway not included.
