LUANAR OPEN AND DISTANCE LEARNING (ODL) GENERIC AND MATURE ENTRY SELECTION
The Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources (LUANAR) has released names of successful candidates to pursue degree programmes offered through Open and Distance Learning (ODL) for both generic (year 1) and mature (year 2) entry.
The opening date for the first semester is 11th July 2016. Candidates are expected to attend a two week orientation session to be held at the Natural Resources College (NRC) campus from Monday 11th July 2016. Accommodation will be available at NRC campus (only for the orientation session) at a fee. Transport will also be available from Standard Bank Lilongwe Old Town Branch to NRC campus on the day of arrival (Sunday, 10th July) and the first day of orientation (Monday, 11th July). Besides the orientation session, candidates are further advised that they will be required to be on campus for one week in the middle of the semester and the last two weeks of the semester.
Successful candidates are also advised that they will be required to pay fees worth K110,000.00 per semester, which must be paid through the following National Bank Account: LUANAR ODL FEES, 1002868683, Lilongwe Gateway Service Center. For registration, candidates will be required to present proof of fees payment of at least 75% (82,500.00) in the form of a bank deposit slip bearing candidate name as well as original copies of their academic certificates, identity documents and two passport size photographs. Only students who will have paid fees and fulfilled the registration requirements will be granted access to university services and facilities.
