Malawi University of Science and Technology Call For Open & Distance Learning (ODL) – 2019/2020 Applications
The Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources (LUANAR) is inviting applications from suitably qualified persons for admission into its programmes offered through Open and Distance Learning (ODL). The following are programmes on offer and their entry requirements:

Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness Management
Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics
Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Innovations
DURATION
Four years
SPECIFIC ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Generic Students (Year One): 6 credit passes including English Language, Biology, Mathematics, Physical Science/Physics and Chemistry at MSCE or any comparable O-Level qualification.
For Mature Entry (Year two): An MSCE certificate and a relevant Diploma with a semester of Basic Sciences obtained from an accredited institution of higher learning.
Tuition Fees is MK 350,000.00 per year. In addition to the tuition fees, students are expected to pay an optional fee worth MWK 30,000.00 per semester for study materials/modules.
To apply for admission; generic students should complete application form UGGODL2019/2020 and mature entry students should use form UGMEODL2019/2020. Applicants should attach a certified copy of their MSCE certificate or notification of results, copy of a diploma and a full transcript (for mature entry applicants) and a bank deposit slip as proof of payment for the application fee. These documents should be submitted as one package to the University Registrar’s office using the address below. Prospective students can also submit the application forms to any of the LUANAR ODL Centres in Blantyre, Lilongwe and Mzuzu.
