Professor/Associate Professor/Senior Lecturer/Lecturer in Actuarial Science (2 positions)
Qualifications & Attributes
Applicants should possess the following qualification and attributes:
- A master’s degree or PhD in Actuarial science or relevant degree, with at least a credit first degree from a recognized university, for Professor/Associate Professor/Senior Lecturer/ Lecturer position.
- Show evidence of engagement in research. Teaching experience at a University or comparable institution, leadership skills and evidence of service to the community and the profession will be added advantages.
Duties
Specific responsibilities shall include, but not limited to:
- Teaching, setting and timely marking examinations for undergraduate
- Conducting research in the area of specialization
- Supervising undergraduate student projects within the Department
- Participating in all academic and professional activities of the Department
- Carrying out any duties as may be assigned by the Head of Department.
