A minimum of an Honours degree in the upper second class (2.1) in
Agricultural Sciences, Biological Sciences, Post Harvest Technology,
Food Science and Technology, Agricultural Engineering and related
studies.
An Honours degree in the lower second class (2.2) will only be
accepted with a minimum of two (2) years working experience in
a related field.

A minimum of GPA 2.4 or upper second class in any undergraduate
engineering degree or equivalent.
At least two (2) years relevant experience for applicants with less
than GPA 2.4 or upper second class.
Non-engineering degree holders with at least three (3) years relevant
experience in managing engineering related projects will be
considered on a case by case basis.
