The Catholic University of Malawi invites suitably qualified persons to apply for its various programmes. Successful applicants will be admitted for programmes which commence in January (Weekend/Part time) and February (Generic/Full time) . In order to be considered, candidates must apply by completing and submitting the relevant application form and required attachments by Friday, 15th  November

GENERIC/ FULL TIME PROGRAMMES

Admission into generic/full time programmes is through three routes : (1) University Entrance Examinations, (2) Bridging Programme (3) Consideration of A-level and post-secondary certificates.

ROUTE 1:        ADMISSION THROUGH ENTRANCE EXAMINATIONS

  • Apply using application forms clearly marked “Admission through Entrance Examinations.”
  • Eligible applicants are those with MSCE or its equivalent  obtained not earlier than 2017 and with credits in six subjects including English and an aggregate of not more than thirty ( 30 ) points.
  • Eligible applicants will register for University Entrance Examinations on 3 rd  January 2020 and sit for the Examinations on 4th January

Application forms

Each entry route has its own specially designed form and applicants must ensure that they complete the correct form. Completing the wrong application form will jeopardize a person’s chance to be considered. Application forms are available at the following places: the university Campus at Montfort-Nguludi in Chiradzulu, the Catholic Secretariat (Area 11, Lilongwe), St. Johns Satellite Centre (Lilongwe), Mary Mount Secondary School (Mzuzu) and all Catholic Diocesan Education Offices (Karonga, Mzuzu, Lilongwe, Dedza, Mangochi, Zomba, Blantyre, Chikwawa). Those with access to the internet can download the form by visiting the University website: http://www.cunima.ac.mw

Application fee

Applicants should pay a non-refundable application fee of MK8000 (for local students) or USD25 (for foreign students). The University will not receive cash, postal orders or cheque payment. The University does not have Airtel Money or TNM Mpamba accounts. Applicants should deposit the non-refundable application fee into one of the University’s bank accounts held at the following banks:
