During this period of uncertainty, students and staff should be advised that UTM has been in regular contact with the Government on a range of issues affecting us all.
I am currently waiting for a decision regarding the proposed resumption date for all education institutions.
I have submitted a paper to the Ministry recommending that the current March 2020 semester be restarted upon resumption. This means that assessments and examinations will not be conducted online during this period of confinement.
I hope that this clarifies the current situation and would request that students and staff continue to communicate and work together, using this time profitably for study, in preparation for the resumption of UTM. I thank you for your patience and understanding.
