UPSA Hostel update Information for the 2020/2021 Academic Year

Notice is hereby given that 2020/2021 academic year Diploma level 200, Degree levels 300 and 400 and MBA final year students, interested in applying to reside in the UPSA Hostel are to take note of the following;

1.0 OPENING OF THE HOSTEL SYSTEM FOR BOOKINGS

  • Diploma Level 200, Degree levels 300 and 400 and MBA final year students could access the Hostel Online Management System for bookings from Friday 11th, Monday 14th to Wednesday 16th September 2020 at 10 am each day only after they have paid their required academic facilities user fee.

2.0 PROCESSES TO REGISTER/ LOGIN /APPLY FOR BED

2.1 Registration and Login Process

  1. The UPSA Hostel Application can be accessed at upsahostels.com
  2. Click on Register for Hostel, if you do not have an account in the Hostel application
  3. Enter your username (which is your student ID) and an email address you have access to. Note: Password credentials and other correspondence will be sent to this email)
  4. Click on the link sent to the mail you provided.
  5. Enter a Password of your choice. You’ll be redirected to the log in screen when the password is successful.

Login

  1. The UPSA Hostel Application can be accessed at upsahostels.com
  2. Enter your username (i.e. your student ID and password which you created during registration).
  3. Clicking the Sign In button, will send you to your Student Dashboard. Continue by following the steps to choose your bed.

Reset Password

  1. On the Log In screen, click on “I Forgot My Password
  2. Enter your email in the text box provided. Note that the email should be the email you provided during your registration or your student email given by the school.
  3. From the email, click on the link received which should redirect you to the hostel application asking for a reset of Password.
  4. Enter a password as you require.
  5. Clicking on the button will send you to the login page for login.

Note:

  1. You will be notified when to pay the required Hostel fees.
  2. Check-in is on the day(s) of re-opening of the University (not yet determined).
  3. Fresh level 300 Students will be given access to the Hostel Management System to book on Friday 18th and Monday 21st September, 2020.
  4. 4. Booking date(s) for fresh Degree levels 100 and 200, continuing students level 200, Diploma level 100 and fresh MBA students would be announced later.
  5. Students are to read the rules and regulations governing the Hostel on the University website (www.upsa.edu.gh) before applying.

Please, this notice takes precedence over the earlier one issued on 2nd September, 2020.
