By | October 7, 2020

The Harare Institute of Technology is inviting applications for admission
into Part one of a five year full time Bachelor of Technology Honours Degree in Biomedical Engineering from candidates who meet the specified entry requirements. Candidates must have five “O” Level passes at grade “C” or better including English and Mathematics.
About the program
Biomedical Engineering is an enthralling interdisciplinary area of study that combines engineering with science and technology to solve medical
problems in living systems. It is the application of the principles and
problem-solving techniques of engineering to biology and medicine. This is
evident throughout healthcare, from diagnosis and analysis to treatment and recovery, and has entered the public conscience through the proliferation of implantable medical devices, such as pacemakers and prosthetics, to more futuristic technologies such as stem cell engineering and the 3-D printing of biological organs.
