For admission into programmes of study at the Maluti Adventist College, MAC for any first degree or second degree, an applicant must have the following requirements for successful admission.

General Admission Requirements

1. Diploma in Nursing  Admission Requirements
COSC (Cambridge Overseas School Certificate) OR LGCSE  (Lesotho General Certificate of Secondary Education)A candidate must have passed a minimum of six (6) subjects of which four (4) must be credits as follows: ·  A Credit (C or better) in any of the three science subjects and a pass D or better in any of the remaining two subjects (Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Integrated or Combined Science) ·   Three or more additional credits in any other COSC OR LGCSE subjects ·    A pass of seven 7 (D or better) in Mathematics ·    A Pass of seven 7 (D or better) in English language ·   For foreign applicants, validation of certificates from home country and ECOL evaluation certificate
Those with Certificates in Nursing·    Certificate in Nursing ·   A minimum of 5 passed subjects at COSC / LGCSE including Biology, Maths and English ·  Pass with distinction in the certificate in Nursing program or ·   Two years of working experience as a Nursing Assistant is an added advantage
Students transferring in from other Nursing Colleges·     Previous level/semester results ·     Testimonial from Principal Nurse Educator (PNE) ·     COSC / LGCSE certificates
 2. Face-to-face Diploma in Midwifery Admission Requirements
Face-to-face Diploma in MidwiferyThe applicant must have the following: ·    Diploma in nursing ·    Proof of registration with Lesotho Nursing Council ·   For foreign applicants, proof of registration with the professional regulatory body of own country, validation of certificates from own country and ECOL evaluation certificate
3. Blended Learning Diploma in Midwifery   Admission Requirements
Blended Learning Diploma in MidwiferyThe applicant must have the following: ·    Diploma in nursing ·    Proof of computer literacy ·    Proof of registration with Lesotho Nursing Council ·    Proof of employment as a Nurse in Lesotho
