Since 2001, The FAIMER Institute, now renamed the International FAIMER Institute, has offered an international fellowship program in health
professions education, leadership development, and global professional community building.
About the International FAIMER Institute The International FAIMER Institute is a two-year, part-time fellowship program offered online from Philadelphia, USA, available to health professions educators from across the
globe. The program is broken into two distinct yearlong programs with the education innovation project being the link
throughout the entire fellowship.
Education Innovation Project
Participants’ education innovation projects are the focal point for application of learning. Each participant proposes an education
innovation project that is endorsed by their institution in their initial application to the International FAIMER Institute, and if selected, then implements it at their institution.
Certificate
Participants earn a certificate from FAIMER for completing the fellowship.
