University of Technology Mauritius Fees Payment Date for 2021 Academic Year

Existing students wishing to register for the current semester are hereby informed that payment of
relevant fees should be effected by latest 30April 2021.
Mode of payment:

  1. Cash deposit voucher payable at any SBM branch
  2. By juice or through internet banking to SBM account number 61031200000193(Students are required to
    specify student ID number as reference) Note: A penalty of 10% on all fees payable shall be
    applicable for all payment effected within one month of deadline. No payment shall be accepted after the
    deadline. Students not having settled their fees by the deadline, shall be deemed as automatically deregistered and will not be allowed to sit for the forthcoming exams.

The State Bank of Mauritius Ltd (SBM) undertakes to collect course fees  from students of the University of Technology, Mauritius (UTM) at any SBM branch.

The fees payable for each Academic Year are as follows:-

Students who fail to pass in 3 attempts will be allowed to resit the module during the permissible course duration as per programme document / UTM’s Regulations.

   Resit fee: Rs 3000/- per attempt

  General fee: Rs 4,000/- for every senester beyond which the resit has not yet been cleared
Appeal FeeRs 3,000/- per module

(Refundable, if Appeal is successful)

(Note:  Appeal on academic grounds against coursework marks/grades, except for modules assessed
by 100% coursework, shall not be entertained.)
Replacement of lost bus passRs 300/-

SCHOLARSHIPS

Need-Based Scholarships

(20) Need-Based Scholarships are awarded annually to full-time Mauritian students who come from low income families.  Renewal of Need-Based Scholarships may be effected upon satisfaction of the established criteria.

Merit-Based Scholarships

(8) Merit-Based Scholarships are awarded annually to the best-performing undergraduate student on Level 1, Level 2, Level 3 in SITE, SBMF and SSDT respectively and to the best performing postgraduate student on Level M in SITE, SBMF,SHS and SSDT.
