Zimbabwean Nationals
Normal application
- A non-refundable application fee of ZWL 850.00 must be paid before submission. The closing date for normal applications is 25 June.
Late application
- Late applications will be considered up to 02 July. The late application fee is ZWL 1275.00.
International applicants
Normal application
- A non-refundable application fee of US$20 must be paid before submission. The closing date for normal international applications is 25 June.
Late application
- Late applications will be considered up to 02 July. Late application fee is US$$30.

| Master of Science Degree in Applied Microbiology and Biotechnology | Applicants should possess Honours Degree with at least a 2.2 in a relevant Biological Science, Microbiology, and Biochemistry, Pharmacy.Shortlisted candidates may be interviewed before admission.Duration of the programme is 2 years on a block release basis. Two blocks of 3 weeks per year held and a research project commences in Block III in the second academic year. |
| Master of Science Degree in Applied Mathematical Modelling | Candidates with an Honours Degree in Applied Mathematics/ Mathematics, Applied Statistics/ Statistics, Computer Science, Operations Research, with at least a 2.2 Degree class.Candidates with at least a 2.1 Honours Degree class in a programme with a significant *Mathematical content.* Significant mathematical content definition For those candidates without a Mathematics Honours Degree, the level of mathematical background for entry to the programme will be considered adequate if the candidate has passed the following mathematics courses:SMA1116 Engineering Mathematics 1ASMA1216 Engineering Mathematics 1B, andSMA2116 Engineering Mathematics IIOrSome other courses determined by the Applied Mathematics Departmental Board to be equivalent to the above.Duration of the Programme1. Full time – 24 months.2. Part time – a minimum period of 24 months and a maximum period of 36 months. |
| Master of Science in Big Data Science: Block release: Department of Computer Science | Applicants must be holders of a BSc Honours degree with a degree class of at least 2.2 in Computing (Computer Engineering, Informatics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering), Electronic Engineering, Statistics, Business Analytics or Operations Research.The minimum duration of the programme shall be 18 months and it will be offered on a block Release over three semesters. The first two semesters shall be by lecture mode while the third semester shall be dedicated to a dissertation. |
| Master of Science degree in Eco-tourism and Biodiversity Conservation | The part-time Master of Science Degree programme aims at providing a holistic approach to ecotourism and natural resources management by producing persons with abilities to develop and integrate ecotourism with biodiversity conservation in an environmentally and socially sustainable manner. Emphasis is placed on producing post-graduates with advanced knowledge and practical skills to become major stakeholders in the growing eco-tourism industry and in sustainable environmental management. The programme shall run over a period of 24 months and is offered in four blocks or semesters.Entry RequirementsHold a minimum of Lower Second Class (2.2) Honours Degree in Forest Resources and Wildlife Management, Animal Science, Natural Resources Management or any relevant science degree.Relevant work experience and professional qualification in eco-tourism, strategic marketing and business management will be an added advantage. |
| Master of Science degree in Sport Science | The entry qualification shall be an Honours Degree with a minimum of 2.2 Degree classification in Sport Science or Sports Science Honours related degree.Special Entry RequirementsThe candidate must have a general Sport related Bachelor of Science Honours Degree or a relevant Non Sport Degree or an internationally recognised coaching qualification or license which is equivalent to an Honours first degree from a Sport Federation or Institution of a similar kind. The candidate must at least have a 2 years working experience. |
