Institute of Development Management Application for July Intake

Would you like to further your studies? IDM offers flexible study modes. Full time study is present where students come to campus to learn Monday to Friday. There is also block study which is Thursday to Sunday once a month. COVID -19 brought with it online study sessions on the Col campus platform where students and lecturers interact for the learning experience to continue seamlessly.

IDM offers a wide range of courses, at Postgraduate level brought in partnership with Namibia Business School (DBA, MBA and Postgraduate diploma in Business Administration). In the Business and Information resources cadre there you find Diploma in Archives and records management, Diploma in business with NCC, Diploma in Information Technology as well as a certificate in Cybersecurity.

In the Human Resources department there is the Diploma and degree in Human Resources Management. Lastly there is the Public Health management department which offers Environmental health, Occupational safety and health as well as Community development.
IDM has recently ventured into offering evening classes. The CIPS programe which is procurement and supply is offered in evening classes.
“CIPS qualifications are the top qualification available to procurement professionals, and are held in high regard by the vast majority of international recruiters and employers in the procurement and supply chain professions,” Fungayi Nyaumwe, CIPS lecturer.

Diploma students should have a certificate in procurement or any other relevant field. Those with relevant working experience also qualify for the diploma level. The diploma level is the highest entry level, whilst high school graduates start on the certificate level. CIPS does not offer any exemptions.
 
Learning times
1. Current Evening classes are running from  Monday to Thursday 530 – 730 pm. Weekend classes 0830 – 1330.
