UACE Results in PDF Download – Best Schools List- Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) UACE Results: Today we will discuss on Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education Examination (UACE) results release date. UNEB’s official portal is uneb.ac.ug is responsible for conducting UACE exams and publishing UACE results. So read this article and get all the information about UACE exam results.
UACE Results :
Uganda’s secondary education system is divided into the Ordinary level (UCE) and Advanced level (UACE). UNEB administered both of these examinations. Generally, the examination is conducted in the month of November and December. The Uganda National Examinations Board will present to you UACE Results for the year in the month of February.
The purpose of the examination is to assess the candidates’ level of achievement. It is not an end in itself but will help to place candidates in their career paths. Candidates should, therefore, approach the examination without panic.
UACE Minimum Requirements:
Only candidates who have passed UCE (Grades 1, 2, 3, and 4) and obtained the Uganda Certificate of Education, or an equivalent qualification, and have pursued an Advanced Level course of at least two years can be registered for the UACE examination. Candidates registering under UPOLET must be those who sat UACE in 2014 only.
UACE grading system in Uganda:
At A-level, the final examination is known as the Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education Examination (UACE). The grading is as follows
- 80% -100% – D1
- 75% – 79% – D2
- 70% – 74% – Credit 3
- 65% – 69% – Credit 4
- 60% – 64% – Credit 5
- 55% – 59% – Credit 6
- 45% – 54% – Pass 7
- 35% – 44% – Pass 8
- 00 – 34% – Failure
UACE Results in PDF Download
Honourable Minister of Education and Sports jointly with the Uganda National Examinations Board will present to you the UACE Results for the year just after the UCE Results Uganda Certificate of Advanced Education Examination for release to the public, in accordance with Section 4(2) of the UNEB Act, Cap 137, Laws of the Republic of Uganda.
Once it’s released candidates can download UACE Results PDF from the UNEB portal. UNEB will award certificates to successful candidates in the UNEB examinations.
UACE Results USSD and SMS:
- UNEB allows all of us to check UACE results in a quick way i.e. all students of Uganda may check the UNEB Results via USSD and SMS platform.
USING MOBILE MOBILE PHONE:
Students can check for the UACE results using their Mobile Phones through the following procedure;
1. Open the message pad on your Mobile Phone
2. Type the Examination Name as “UACE” (Leave Space)
3. Type Examination Index Number (NO Space)
4. Send to 6600
For Example:
- <<Exam Name>> <<SPACE>> <<INDEX_NUMBER>>
- UACE U0001/0011 and send to 6600
NB: Candidates, their parents and any other person wishing to access results may do so through their mobile phones. Go to the ‘Message’ menu and type UCE, leave space, then type the correct index number of the candidate; e.g. U0001/001. Send to 6600 on the MTN, AIRTEL, AFRICELL and UTL networks. It should be noted that results obtained by this method are for notification only, and cannot be tendered as official. UAEC Result slips and certificates remain the only authentic proof of performance, and candidates should collect these from their respective schools from where they registered.
UCE Results Performance:
A total of 101,268 candidates registered for the 2015 examination from 2,003 centres compared to 108,419 candidates from 1,803 centres in 2014. This is a decrease of 7,151 (-6.6%). A total of 99,847 candidates appeared for the examination, compared to 107,297 in 2014, a decrease of 7,448 candidates (-6.9%). The third cohort of UPOLET students took the examination in 2015. The number registered under the scheme was 20,840 compared to 23,308 in 2014 (20.6% of total candidature).
