Open University of Mauritius Virtual Induction for July/August 2022 Intake
All newly enrolled learners (except MPH and Foundation)
This is to inform you that the Induction for the July/August 2022 intake shall be held on Saturday 30
July 2022 from 09.30 to 12.00. The Induction shall be held live on our YouTube channel at:
https://www.youtube.com/c/OpenUniversityofMauritiusOfficial. You will have the opportunity to interact
with the University through YouTube and WhatsApp during the event.
Instructions for participation in the Virtual Induction are being mailed to you as soon as your seats are being confirmed. Please, check your mail regularly (check the spam folder as well).
In case you have not yet received your seat confirmation, kindly note that the Admissions Office is
working on it, and you should receive an email before the Induction.
IMPORTANT
Many applicants have been requested to provide additional documents to Admissions Office by
Saturday 23 July 2022. The Admissions Office will offer their seats subject to the receipt of the
requested documents and subject to their eligibility. Such applicants will be able to participate in the
induction if proofs of payment of module fees are received by 28 July 2022 at the latest.
If module payment receipts reach the Admission Office by 03 August 2022, new learners will be able to
join their first session, upon validation of their payment and receipt of credentials from the Student Affairs
Unit.
