Apply for Ocean Exchange Awards 2022 for Innovative Solutions $100,000 Funding
The 2022 Ocean Exchange Award call for Solutions is now open for entries to compete for three monetary awards to include the Wallenius Wilhelmsen Orcelle Award 2022, the Neptune Award 2022 and the Ocean Exchange Innovation Award for Transportation and Logistics Hubs.
Each monetary award will provide $100,000 USD to the winner in each of the categories. Interested applicants are encouraged to send take advantage of the award.
Ocean Exchange Awards 2022 | DETAILS
Ocean Exchange is a global ecosystem whose mission is to accelerate the adoption of innovative solutions for healthy oceans and the sustainable blue economy. These are innovative, proactive and globally scalable Solutions with working prototypes that can leap across industries, economies and cultures– innovations that generate economic growth and increased productivity, while reducing the use of nature’s resources and waste.
The Orcelle Award will go to the solution that creates most sustainable value for business in regard to social, community or environmental issues.
The Innovation Award for Transportation and Logistics Hubs is given to the solution that advances ocean, inland and air – PORTS and other logistics HUBS. Seeking innovations that make ports/hubs more sustainable with technologies that support clean water & air, conservation of precious natural resources near ports/hubs, efficient road/rail/warehousing supporting the ports, and state of the art sustainable port-hub land management.
The Neptune Award 2022 is given to the solution that advances our understanding of the ocean and that helps minimize our impact on these resources, even while using them for human benefit, resulting in more resilient bodies of water including healthy marine life and coastlines.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Ocean Exchange Awards 2022, interested applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Must present innovative solutions in line with the three (3) categories of the award.
- Be eligible to travel to the USA for the award if selected.
- Solutions must be original.
