The Global Minds Doctoral scholarship program at KU Leuven selects exceptional applicants in developing countries for scholarship candidacy in their PhD program. Recipients of this scholarship spend 24 months doing research at KU Leuven and 24 months doing research at their home institution. This is called the ‘sandwich system’.
