University of Botswana Undergraduate Admission For the 2024/2025

The University of Botswana (UB) wishes to inform the public and all those who applied for admission into its undergraduate study programmes of the following:

  1. Enquiries on admission are open.
  2. All admitted applicants have been sent admission offer letters through their email addresses.
  3. The admission list has been published on the UB website: www.ub.bw.
  4. Applicants should ACCESS THE ADMISSION LIST to check their names.
  5. Those whose names appear on the list but have not yet received their admission offers should CHECK THEIR EMAILS before contacting the Undergraduate Admissions Office at Main Campus by calling the following telephone numbers: 355 2912/2931/4625/2183/2047 or sending an email to admissions@ub.ac.bw
  6. Unsuccessful applicants may apply to add one programme of their choice, provided they meet the programme requirements including the Competitive Admission Cut-Off Points shown with the published admission list.
  7. An Application Form for an additional programme of study is available online through the “STUDY” link on the UB website: www.ub.bw. A completed application form should be sent by email to admissions@ub.ac.bw. Admission of applicants will be made based on eligibility, academic merit and availability of space in their programme of choice.
  8. All admitted applicants may request for change of programme, but will only be allowed to make the change twice.
  9. All applicants who HAVE QUERIES REGARDING THEIR APPLICATION STATUS should contact the Undergraduate Admissions Office.
  10. New applications are still being received until 31st May 2024 and should all be submitted online through the “STUDY” link on the UB website: www.ub.bw.
  11. Applicants with Certificate IV, NCQF Level 4 (BGCSE/equivalent) with overall points 30 (best six subjects) and at least four subjects at a minimum of grade C will be considered for Degree programmes in the Faculties of Education, and Humanities, provided they meet the specific entry requirements for their programme of choice.
  12. Please note that the published admission list is not exhaustive, therefore it will, time and again be updated.
  13. The University of Botswana has made every effort to ensure that the published list of successful applicants is correct. Nevertheless, the University shall not be held responsible for names included mistakenly in the admission list.
