Bachelor of Education – Adult Education Admission requirements
Entrance Requirements
a) A pass in the Diploma in Adult Education, plus 2 years post-diploma experience related to Adult Education;
OR
b) a credit in the Diploma in Adult Education:

c) a degree which is accepted by the University as an appropriate qualification with at least two years relevant experience and must be currently engaged in Adult Education practice. Such degrees may include those in the fields of social sciences, agriculture and health.
Holders of the Diploma in Adult Education with an overall minimum of 60% may enter the degree programme in Year 2, on the recommendation of the IDE Board to Senate.
Programme Structure
A major component of the Degree in Adult Education shall be design and delivery of instruction.
The course structure of the programme shall be as follows: In year 1, students shall be required to take 10 course modules or 8 course modules if they are exempted from ACS. In years 2 and 3 they shall be required to take 8 course modules. In years 4 and 5 they shall be required to take 9 course modules. From year 4, students shall choose one subject option as a second major. Not all optional subjects may be offered in any one year.
