Chikankata School of Nursing and Midwifery is a Faith based owned medical and nursing School in the Southern Province in Zambia . The University is also affiliated to the Health Professional Council of Zambia (HPCZ), and the General Nursing of Zambia (GNCZ)
Courses Offered At Chikankata School of Nursing and Midwifery
Registered Nursing – 3 years Diploma
Registered Midwifery (In-service) – 1 year Certificate
Entry requirements:
A. School Leaver Direct Entry Applicants
- A full Grade Twelve School Certificate or GCE with 5 credits or better, four of which must
be English Language, Mathematics, Biology and Science.
B. Advanced Diploma Applicants - A full Grade Twelve School Certificate or GCE with 5 credits or better, four of which must
be English Language, Mathematics, Biology and Science. - A relevant certificate or Diploma qualification from a recognized institution.
- 2019 Practicing Certificate from the Health Professions Council of Zambia (HPCZ) or General
Nursing Council of Zambia (GNC).
C. A-Level Applicants - A full Grade Twelve School Certificate or GCE with 5 credits or better, four of which
must be English Language, Mathematics, Biology and Science; - ‘A’ levels in Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics or Physics from a recognized Institution
with an average grade B may be considered for Degree Programmes and may earn
exemptions.
D. BSc Holder Applicants - A full Grade Twelve School Certificate or GCE with 5 credits or better, four of which
must be English Language, Mathematics, Biology and Science; - Bachelor of Science Degree in a relevant science programme or a Health Professionsrelated discipline may be considered for Degree Programmes and may earn exemptions.
E. Graduate Entry - A full Grade Twelve School Certificate or GCE with 5 credits or better, four of which must
be English Language, Mathematics, Biology and Science; - Bachelor of Science Degree in a relevant science programme or a Health Professionsrelated discipline for masters programmes.
- Master of Science Degree in a relevant science programme or a Health Professionsrelated discipline for masters programmes.
APPLICATION PROCESS
- Kindly download the application form for the intended programme. Fill it in as required. Ensure that all spaces are filled in correctly.
- Make a deposit for the application fee into the college account. Check banking details below OR the application form.
- Scan the application form, certified copies of the National Registration Card, Grade 12 results, letter from the church, school testimonial, other qualification as required and the bank deposit slip.
