DAPP CHILANGOMA AND DOWA TEACHER TRAINING COLLEGES
SEPTEMBER INTAKE
The colleges of Chilangoma and Dowa invite applications from interested young Malawians to start a training which upon completion will lead to the award of a T2 Certificate. The training will take place at the above mentioned teacher training colleges in Blantyre rural and Dowa respectively.
Duration
The training will take three years which includes bus travelling to various parts of Malawi.
Qualifications
All those who are aspiring to be trained as primary school teachers should have the Malawi School Certificate of Education with 6 credits including English, Mathematics and any other science subject.
Curriculum
The curriculum prepares the teacher for the rural primary school through theoretical and practical work, cooperation with the community and many other responsibilities. The college follows the Ministry of Education Primary School Teacher Training Curriculum.
Fees
Successful candidates will be required to pay fees for the entire training. The fees will be communicated during the interviews.
