Diploma in Law Entrance Requirements

Subject to the provisions of the General Regulations, the following special regulations shall apply. The minimum entrance requirements are:
(a)        At least a C grade OR better in the GCE O’ Level English Language plus two (2) subjects drawn from the list below:
English Literature                                            History
Geography                                                        SiSwati
Human & Social Biology                                French
Principles of Accounting                                Physics
Commerce                                                       Biology
Mathematics                                                    Economics
Chemistry                                                        Agriculture
Book-keeping                                                  Physical Science
Bible Knowledge                                            Additional Mathematics
General Science
OR
(b)        At least a C grade or better in the IGCSE/SGCSE English Language plus two (2) subjects drawn from the list below:
English Literature                                            History
Business Studies                                           Geography
Accounting                                                        Siswati
Economics                                                       French
Physical Science                                            Agriculture
Biology                                                              Physics
Religious Studies                                          Chemistry
Combined Science                                        Mathematics
Additional Mathematics
             OR
(c)        A General Certificate of Education with three passes, one of which must be English Language; and a minimum of three years of relevant work experience in any profession, occupation or field;
OR
(d)        A Certificate in Law awarded with credit or better by the University of Swaziland or any other institution approved by the Senate;
OR
(e)        A pass in the Certificate in Law plus one (1) year of relevant work experience after completing the Certificate in Law Programme;
OR
(f)         The Mature Age Entry Scheme applicable to Diploma Programmes.
