FML Oil Company of Zimbabwe (Pvt) Ltd (“FML”) was acquired by Brainworks Capital Management (Pvt) Ltd (“now Brainworks Limited”) with the aim of securing predictable income streams through the distribution of petroleum products in Zimbabwe and the hinterland markets.
Brainworks Limited, Zimbabwe’s pre-eminent private equity investment and advisory firm, is primarily focused on investing in the financial services, energy, hospitality and real estate sectors.
FML’s strategic intent is to address the increasing demand from sub-Saharan emerging businesses, for more efficient fuel supplies, given rising world oil prices which necessitate cost effective and efficient delivery systems due to the land-locked nature of the target economies and the increasing reliance on fossil fuel for energy, transport and manufacturing.
