Rules and Regulations

  • Users will only be allowed entrance when they have GIPS Student ID at the main entrance
  • Switch off your cellphones before entering the library
  • Bags are not allowed in the library
  • Noise and discussions are not allowed in the library
  • Sleeping/Eating/Chewing is not allowed in the library
  • Time is allocated  for each library user for the use of a computer workstation during each visit to the library
  • Books are only used for reference in the library by students until further notice
  • Playing computer games and accessing pornography websites or materials is prohibited in the library
  • Failure to return issued books on time will result in a penalty charge of P5.00 per day.
  • If you lose a book or any library material you will be expected to pay for the lost item(s)
  • If theft is suspected in the library, the librarian and authorized security personnel have the right to search all students in that session
  • Sharing and reservations of chairs is not allowed
  • When leaving the library students must hand over their belongings to the security personnel for searching
