How much water does Botswana use?
Total water use in Botswana has increased only by 5% from about 143 million cubic meters in 1993 to 150 million cubic meters in 1998, (Table 1). This increase is relatively low considering the much higher rates of economic growth and population growth over the period (Figure 1).
