About Institute Health Sciences Botswana
The Ministry of Health established the Institute of Health Sciences (IHS) to provide training courses for health workers in several areas. The affiliated health training institutions run training programs in Gaborone, Francistown, Serowe, Molepolole, Kanye, and Lobatse campuses.
Admissions for Academic Year 2024/2025
The Institute of Health Sciences Coordinating Unit invites applications from candidates wishing to study for the following programs. Candidates should hold a minimum of COSC/BGCSE or its equivalent with a minimum grade as specified under each program
• General Nursing
• Environmental Health
• Health Education
• Medical Laboratory Technology
• Midwifery
• Family Nurse Practitioner

APPLICATION FORMS PROCEDURE
Application forms are available from all Institutes/Colleges from November every year and the closing date is 31st March. Forms can be downloaded from www.moh.gov.bw or www.ihsfran.ac.bw.
