Khalifa Bin Zayed Air College KBZAC Admission Requirements
Admission
This program is only open to Officer Cadets already employed by the UAE Defence Force. Selection of the program is conducted annually by a committee nominated by the General Head Quarters of the Armed Forces (GHQ) in consultation with HCT.
The entry requirements for the Bachelor of Science in Aviation Science and Aviation Support programs are jointly determined by the UAE Air Force & Defence Force and HCT to meet the requirements of the UAE Defence Force as an employer and the standards for higher education as set by the CAA.
Students wishing to take these programs should apply to the UAE Defence Force to enter employment with the UAE Defence Force in the first instance. Candidates are accepted annually by a committee formed by the General Command of the Armed Forces. The numbers that are accepted at Khalifa bin Zayed Air College are determined by the general policy of the armed forces.
Applying to KBZAC
Applicants who meet the following requirements are eligible to apply for admission to the Higher Colleges of Technology according to the admission policy and regulations for the relevant programs
To be considered for admission, all applicants:
A. Must be a UAE Citizen
B. Must not be dismissed from the military service for any reason, nor ended service at the Armed Forces
C. Must not be below 17 years of age, nor above 23 years of age
D. Must not be less than 163 cm in height
E. Must have a high school certificate with a score of 80% and above at Zayed Military University for pilot cadets
F. Must achieve an EmSAT score of 1250 in English
G.Must achieve an EmSAT score of 900 in Mathematics
HMust pass medical examinations required for pilot cadets and cadets at Zayed Military University
I Must have good conduct and behaviour and not be sentenced to any crime connected to honour and honesty
J. Must pass the personal interview
K. Must provide consent from a parent/guardian

Documents Required for Application
The application must be accompanied by the following documents:
A) Academic Documents Required
A. 1 certified copy of the high school certificate
B. Ministry of Education Equivalency letter is required from all students who completed their secondary education in non-UAE governmental systems, i.e. American, British.
C. Students who study the British curriculum must submit official statements of results and official grade reports issued by the examination board, not from the school.
D. 1. EmSAT- English or equivalent.
B) Personal Documents Required
A. 3 copies of the passport with the original, showing the unified number and Edbarah number page.
B. 2 copies of the family book with the original
C. 1 copy of the birth certificate
D. 4 coloured copies of a photo – size (4×6) cm
