Lesotho College Of Education Accommodation

Lesotho College Of Education Accommodation

Accommodation is the responsibility of the Department of Students’ Affairs and admission into College does not mean an automatic accommodation into the hostels, that is, when students apply for enrolment at LCE, they are issued with accommodation forms, and it is their responsibility to return them the office of the DSA.
The College has twelve (12) block-units which accommodate forty-two (42) students each. There are also seven (7) units which each accommodates between (50) and (64) students.  Blocks have three levels with two showers and two toilets at each level, whereas Units have two levels with two showers and two toilets on the ground level in each unit.
The Blocks are built in such a way that, each has two single rooms at the ground level, and these are normally reserved for student leaders, while the rest of the rooms are shared by two people.  Four Units on the other hand, have four single rooms at the ground level and two of them as with the Blocks, are reserved for student leaders.  With the last three units, all rooms are shared by two people. The rooms are spacious and have necessary furniture such as beds with mattress, heaters, reading tables, chairs, wardrobes and lockers.
