Applications forms are available for admission into all the programmes of the College, namely Advanced Diploma in Special Education (ADSE), Diploma in Education – Primary (Dip.Ed.Pri),Diploma in Education (Pre-School And Foundation Phase), Diploma in Education Primary (DTEP) Diploma in Education – Secondary (Dip.Ed.Sec) and Certificate in Early Childhood Education (CECE).
Application fee: M232.00
Application forms are normally available from the beginning of March and the closing date for the return of application forms is normally the end of April.
Late submissions are not accepted.

LESOTHO COLLEGE OF EDUCATION ADMISSION GUIDELINES AND FORMS
Application to LCE is basically online or done manually depending on your preference . Kindly follow the steps stated below to apply.
LCE Online Application Procedure
- Application can also be made online by visiting the Lesotho College of Education Online Application portal through the link as stated below in order to track the application anywhere and anytime.
- Simply upload all of the necessary documentation so that it can be processed by our administrative department.
- Your application will be completed once all of the necessary fees have been paid.

- Application forms can also be collected in person from the college.
- The Application Form must be accompanied by the required documents.
UPLOAD SUPPORTING DOCUMENTATION
Everyone applying for a new qualification must submit the required documents (all first-time applicants and LCE students starting a new qualification). The due date for uploading the required documents is the closing date for applications. No documents submitted after the closing date for applications will be accepted.
LCE does not provide scanners or electronic devices. Please ensure that your documents are scanned and uploaded to an electronic device before starting the application process.
LESOTHO COLLEGE OF EDUCATION APPLICATION FEE
Pay the application fee once you’ve received a student number from LCE
- An application fee of M 2000 and attach a copy of the confirmation slip.
This fee is non-refundable even if you decide not to study through LCE, do not qualify for admission to LCE or cannot be offered a space due to limited spaces available. LCE does not accept cash at any of its offices.
The due date for the application fee is the closing date for the application period. Any application submitted without an application fee paid on time will not be processed. Please ensure that you keep a copy of your proof of payment.
Make sure that your application is complete
If your application for admission to study through LCE is incomplete, you will have to re-apply during the next application period.
LCE APPLICATION REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
All applicants starting a new qualification must upload all the required documents, which generally consists of the following:
- 2 Academic Reference forms bearing stamp of previous school.
- Certified copy of passport or ID or any form of Identification showing biographical data & expiry date
- Verified and certified copies of Educational Certificates/Transcripts excluding PSLE and JC Certificates.
- Evaluation or Conversion certificate from Examination Council of Lesotho (Ecol) for Matriculates. Foreign internationals who sat for GCSE e.g. LGCSE, IGCSE or equivalent do not need to evaluate.
- A passport size photo
Lesotho College of Education, LCE Application for International Students
International students who hold Matric results are requested to submit their transcripts or results slips to Examination Council of Lesotho (ECoL) for the Council to evaluate and convert their results to the local standards so that the University can assess them.
Applicants are strongly advised to evaluate their results before applying into the University as the process usually takes time.
