Lewanika School of Nursing and Midwifery July Intake

The management of Lewanika Schools of Nursing and Midwifery wishes to inform of prospective Applicants (as specified above) and the general public that application for Diploma for the Academic Year are now on sale.

The Management of King Lewanika University has released the application form for candidates seeking admission into the institution. The Admission form which is to be completed online, will guide you through the process of application.

REQUIREMENTS:

Applicants for First Degrees must have completed his or her Secondary/High School Education with a minimum of (5) credit units on relevant subjects to be qualified.
Applicants for Master’s Degree programs must have completed his or her First Degree program from a recognized university or institution with a minimum of 3.0-grade point average(4 point scale) or it’s equivalent prior to his or her application while a minimum of 2.5 grade point is accepted from practical based courses and four years of work experience.
For Direct Entry Applicants, the minimum requirement is an average of 2.5-grade point (on a 4.0 point scale) or it’s equipment.

The institution considers candidates for admission based on merits, so if you have gotten the minimum requirements for your intended course, the next step is to proceed to fill the Admission Form

Lewanika Schools of Nursing and Midwifery is a Government owned medical and nursing School in the Western Province in Zambia . The University is also affiliated to the Health Professional Council of Zambia (HPCZ), and the General Nursing of Zambia (GNCZ)

METHOD OF APPLICATION

All prospective applicants who meet the above requirements should:
A. Obtain Application Forms in person from Levy Mwanawasa Medical University – Admissions Office or the website: www.moh.gov.zm or www.cchs.ac.zm
B. Deposit a non-refundable fee of K200.00 (Kwacha Two Hundred only) into the Levy Mwanawasa Medical University Third Party Account No. 110110359429026 INVEST TRUST BANK ODYS
BRANCH at any INVEST TRUST Branch countrywide.
C. All completed application forms should be accompanied with certified copies of certificates or statements of results; an authentic bank deposit slip; receipt from the Account’s Office and
should reach the Academic Office by 31st May.
