Linakeng Health Center strives to meet the health needs of the clients served with quality and compassionate care.
Linakeng Health Center operates with a capacity of 150 beds and a comprehensive range of health-care services, primarily to the approximately 100,000 people living in the 264 villages in its health service area, but many patients come from all other parts of the country as well.
Linakeng Health Center is managed by the Board of Governors under SDA Church. CHAL, which is a voluntary organization of six member Christian Churches, is the linking body between the GOL and the church hospitals in Lesotho where Linakeng Health Center is a member.
The Hospital’s Board is comprised of different entities: some members of ADCOM, Executive Officers from Lesotho Conference (SDA), and Southern African Union (SAU), the Rector of Maluti Adventist College (MAC), community representatives, the Principal Chief and the Executive Director from CHAL.
The daily operations of Linakeng Health Center is the responsibility of ADCOM: a team comprising of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Human Resources Officer, the Business Manager, and Manager Nursing Services (MNS) as the key leading positions for MAH. Other offices are represented by the Chaplain, Wellness Center Manager, Head of Maintenance, the representative of MAC and the Director of Maluti Vision Center (MVC).
