List Of Courses Offered In Malawi Institute of Tourism MIT

Specific minimum requirements for a course are indicated under each course below.
All candidates who comply with the minimum admission requirements are subject to selection procedures as follows:-
- Aptitude evaluation
- A personal oral interview
- A written profile to determine potential to be a successful tourism and hospitality practitioner
Applicants are notified of the time and date of evaluation sessions and the requirements in respect of the various courses.

Diploma in Travel & Tourism Management Upgrading – Two years | A certificate in any Tourism and Hospitality course and a minimum of two years experience working in the Tourism and Hospitality Industry |
Diploma in Hospitality & Tourism Management Upgrading – Two years | A certificate in any Hospitality course and a minimum of two years experience working in the Hospitality Industry |
Certificate in Hotel Management – 1 year | MSCE with at least 2 credits including English and 1 science subject |
Certificate in Food Production – 1 Year | MSCE with at least 2 credits including English and 1 science subject |
Certificate in Food & Beverage services – 11/2 years | MSCE with at least 2 credits including English and 1 science subject |
Certificate in Front Office Operations- 1 year | MSCE with at least a credit in English |
