Lusaka Health Institute offers conducive classroom based skills laboratory at the institution and practical sessions at the University Teaching Hospital, Chainama College of Health Sciences and at various clinics in Lusaka. Students are also given a rural experience in the rural clinics such as Nangoma Mission Hospital.
The institute provides an affordable low cost training and is one of the cheapest amongst private nursing school with highly qualified teaching staff.

Entry Qualifications.
The minimum entry requirements for school leavers into this programme shall be ‘5’ ‘O’ level credits of the Zambian Certificate or its equivalent with ENGLISH LANGUAGE, MATHEMATICS AND SCIENCE/ CHEMISTRY/ PHYSICS / BIOLOGY / HUMAN AND SOCIAL BIOLOGY BEING COMPULSORY plus any other two (2) subjects.
Minimum entry age shall be 18 years and above
All candidates should pass both personal interviews and aptitude test.

METHOD OF APPLICATION
All prospective applicants who meet the above requirements should:
A. Obtain Application Forms in person from Levy Mwanawasa Medical University – Admissions Office or the website: www.moh.gov.zm or www.cchs.ac.zm
B. Deposit a non-refundable fee of K200.00 (Kwacha Two Hundred only) into the Levy Mwanawasa Medical University Third Party Account No. 110110359429026 INVEST TRUST BANK ODYS BRANCH at any INVEST TRUST Branch countrywide.
C. All completed application forms should be accompanied with certified copies of certificates or statements of results; an authentic bank deposit slip; receipt from the Account’s Office and should reach the Academic Office by 31st May.
