Madina Institute Of Science And Technology Admission Requirement

Admission to the programmes at MIST is based requirements outlined by the National Council for Tertiary Education (NCTE), National Accreditation Board (NAB), University for Development Studies and the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).

No applicant will be discriminated against on grounds of ethnicity, religion, or other non-academic considerations.

Successful candidates must, however, be willing to abide by the rules and regulations of the Institute, which in the main, are in conformity with the tenets of the 1992 Constitution of the Republic of Ghana.

As An Islamic faith-based Institution, morality is held high and infractions bordering on drunkenness, use of banned substances/drugs, indecent dressing, stealing, fighting, etc will not be countenanced at MIST.

Admissions Requirement

SSCE Candidates: Credit passes (A-D) in six (6) subjects comprising three core subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, plus three (3) relevant elective subjects.

WASSCE Candidates: Credit Passes (A1-C6) in six (6) subjects comprising three core subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, plus three (3) relevant elective subjects.

GBCE Candidates: Credit Passes (A1-D) in six (6) subjects comprising three core subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, plus three (3) relevant elective subjects.

Mature Candidates: Matured students must be above 25 years of age. Another requirement is to pass the entrance examination for matured students.
