The Malawi Assemblies of God University (MAGU), an affiliate of the Malawi Assemblies of God was established to provide a high level system of education driven by strong Christian values and standards. The University is registered, recognized and accredited by Malawi Government through National Council for Higher Education (NCHE).

Malawi Assemblies of God University exists to provide leaders with quality and innovative tertiary education that is transformational and spirit empowered with global relevance based on biblical principles. Philosophy of the Institution
MAGU approaches the total educational programme from a Christian perspective. It attempts to carry out comprehensive educational training to prepare students to reach their maximum fulfillment in serving God, church, fellow man and country in the changing educational, economic, political, and social situation of today.
As a Christian school, MAGU’s education is designed to be holistic. It is very important that all persons involved in the educational process gain knowledge and skills that enable them to respond to situations and problems effectively. They must be transformed through a personal encounter with God in Jesus Christ. MAGU also believes that men and women experiencing this transformation will seek to live individually and collectively by the affirmation that Jesus is Saviour and Lord.
