About the Course
If you are already a fully qualified ACCA or CIMA member you can complete the MBA in just 18 months of part time study. It will take you one month to complete each taught module, and a further month in which to submit the assessment. The final Research Methods and independent Study module will take you 12 months to complete. It’s significant part of the masters course and is a major piece of independently researched work.The course normally begins May/June each year, with an induction in April.
The independent study hand in date in October of the following year. This is followed by the Award Ceremony.The MBA encourages a deep understanding of challenges of strategy and its implementation. it builds on your experience and what you have learnt from your ACCA or CIMA qualifications so you will develop an integrated and critically aware knowledge and understanding of management and organisations.You will look at the integrative nature of management and the implications of background forces on organisations.
Depending on whether you follow the ACCA top up route you will also examine the importance of effective marketing and operations management, the development and operations of markets for goods, services and resources, customer types and their expectations, and the implications of contemporary changes for strategy and management of organisations, as well as the management and development of people.
