Mulanje Mission Hospital Job Vacancies

MMH provides public health and primary care services to about 80,000 people living in 72 villages in our local catchment area of Mulanje.  Patients from across Mulanje district and much further afield visit MMH  for outpatient, inpatient and HIV/AIDS services.

MMH is a health facility under the C.C.A.P. Blantyre Synod committed to providing quality preventive, curative, rehabilitative and palliative health care to the community in the catchment area and all others who seek our services, irrespective of gender, age, religion or social status in an environment where Christian values are upheld.

Mulanje Mission Hospital works together with a local government hospital to serve a population of 550,000 people in the Mulanje district of south east Malawi. Mulanje Mission was established towards the end of the 19th century, and the initial health facility on the present site operated as a maternity clinic only. 

Nowadays the 220 bedded hospital provides a full range of medical, surgical and paediatric services. Together with the adjacent College of Nursing,  MMH has become well known for its high standards of care, under the governance of Blantyre Synod of the Central Church of Africa Presbyterian (CCAP).
