Mzuzu Technical College was established in 1958 by the white fathers who were then offering only carpentry course.
From 1958 to present time, college has grown tremendously in terms of courses offered.
The college is fully funded by the Government of Malawi and it’s under Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training. It reports to the Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training. Training is offered by following both the Ministry of Education and Teveta act.
