The management of Mzuzu University Nursing wishes to inform of prospective Applicants (as specified above) and the general public that application for Diploma for the Academic Year are now on sale.

The Faculty of Health Sciences now offers the following programs and learning modes through the Department of Nursing and Midwifery as follows:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Midwifery (Online) 5 years

Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Midwifery (Upgrading) 3 years

Master of Science in Nursing Education (Clinical Teaching) 2 years

Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing 3 years

Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for studies in various Upgrading programmes for Diploma and Degree for the
2020/2021 Academic Year. The applications should reach the University by Friday, 28th August 2020.

 Diploma in Education or its equivalent obtained from a recognized institution of higher
learning,
 Should be qualified to teach any 2 of the following secondary school subjects: History,
Geography, Social and Development Studies, Bible Knowledge, Chichewa and French
 At least 2 years post diploma teaching experience, and
 Evidence of MSCE or its equivalent.

2 Bachelor of
Education (Arts) –
Upgrading
 MSCE or its equivalent with atleast six credits including English (Language or Literature)
and any three of the following subjects: History, Geography, Social and Development
Studies, Bible Knowledge, Chichewa and French.
 At least 2 years teaching experience
