Courses Offered

The Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree is a four and a half years competency-based program aimed at producing nursing graduates as General Registered Nurses (GRN).

A Northrise nursing graduate will not only be adequately qualified and equipped to serve on the frontlines of healthcare in Zambia but will also be an internationally recognized health professional.

In a modern Simulation Lab, our students will have opportunities to apply theory to practice in a supportive environment prior to undertaking workplace experience.

Below are the requirements for admission into Northrise University School of Nursing, NU Zambia.

NORTHRISE UNIVERSITY SCHOOL OF NURSING ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

G12 certificate with 5 credits or better inclusive of English, Mathematics and Science.

In-service Nurses who wish to upgrade to a degree can also apply. In addition to your Certificate, or Diploma qualification, you are required to have credits in English, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics.

HOW TO APPLY FOR NORTHRISE UNIVERSITY ADMISSIONS

The following are the steps involved in applying for admission:

STEP 2: TEST & INTEVIEW

Once your Application is processed and you’re qualified for admission, you will be invited to attend an Aptitude Test and Interview

STEP 3: ACCEPTED

If you pass your Interview and Aptitude Test, you will be called to collect your Acceptance Package which includes your Acceptance Letter and Invoice

STEP 4: MAKE PAYMENTS

Your final step before you begin classes is to make the Intent to Register and Tuition Payments. Your Invoice (received in step 3) will detail the amount to be paid

ADMISSION DATES

Application Window: October to December

Interview Window: November January

Note: All applicants who qualify for entry will be called and given an interview date. All Interviews will be conducted on Thursdays and Fridays in the scheduled interview weeks.
