IELTS test fee
The fee for sitting the IELTS test is P2625.00.
Test dates and locations
The British Council offers IELTS tests in Botswana. All registrations and communication are handled by the British Council in Gaborone, Botswana.
We currently administer IELTS exams once every month throughout the year. We also offer a special session for the Academic module between May and July.
Places are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, so we strongly recommend that you register online at least two months prior to the test date. Please note, once all the test places have been assigned and the session is full, the test will no longer appear on our online registration system.
You will receive an email one week before the test date confirming the venue for your test and the timetable.

Venue details
The IELTS test takes place at Botswana National Productivity Centre (BNPC) in Gaborone, Plot 21222/ 21254 Mobuto, Tlokweng Road Circle.
The exact information will be confirmed in the timetable you will receive by email approximately two weeks before the test.
How to get to your test venue
From the University of Botswana roundabout towards the Fairgrounds, pass the BHC flats on the left, turn left at News Cafe traffic lights, then take an immediate right. The BNPC is the second building on the right after News Cafe.
