Hillside Hospital is a wholly owned subsidiary of PSMI. Hillside hospital is 42-bedded health facility with caring and compassionate staff to attend to all health concerns. The hospital accepts all medical aids as well as cash paying patients.

Our services
Outpatient Department
- Patients are managed professionally and are admitted when necessary into the hospital wards.
- Minor surgical procedures are done on site.
- Major surgical cases are referred externally.
- Laboratory services are available on site for the convenience of our clients.
Admissions
- Our admission facilities are open 24 hours a day.
- Hillside Hospital admits patients through its own Casualty Department, referrals from other hospitals, clinics or specialists.
- A patient is required to present a valid medical aid card or cash for cash paying patients.
- The patient is also required to fill in necessary admission forms before admission to hospital.
- A valid identity card must be produced if payment is to be done by a medical aid society.
- Cash paying patients shall be informed about the deposit.
Medical Ward
- Caters for all medical conditions and specialist care is rendered to all clients.
- The ward houses both male and female patients so the patients are roomed by gender, such that females together and males on their own.
- The ward caters for all medical (non-surgical) conditions requiring acute care.
- The Charge nurse oversees a staff compliment of appropriately qualified and experienced nurses. The nurse patient ratio in the ward is 1:7.
