The Management of Rusangu University(RU) has officially released the fee structure for the 2021/2022 programmes offered at the university.

TUITION AND FEES
- The rate for tuition fees per credit hour is K270, for both Lusaka and Main campuses. The normal
load is calculated at 12 credits. Credits done in excess of the normal load will be upon
management approval and availability of funds. - The university sells meals at the cafeteria at K10 per meal off the counter to students and
staff/faculty who want.

GENERAL INFORMATION
1) A quality Identity card shall be paid for once at K50 in a study period only by new students.
Students who misplace their identity cards shall be liable to pay a replacement fee of K150 per
card.
2) It is required that students pay for the school fees in full per quarter in one instalment. In case of
financial challenges, a student may be allowed to pay 70% of the required fees by registration
time and 30% (balance) before examination time.
3) Late registration shall attract a K65 cash payment per day and it is not negotiable.
4) Remedial English classes shall be charged per credit hour for foreign students in liaison with the
dean of the school.
5) Outstanding accounts shall be settled in full before examination time.
6) Foreign students shall meet all the student permit costs as per immigration rates.
7) The practicum fee shall be K1,600 per practicum by both local and foreign nursing students
8) The indexing fee shall be paid once in the study program at K260 and K455 respectively by local
and foreign nursing and environmental health students
9) Teaching practice and industrial attachment fee shall be at K1,000 only by senior students
10) Graduation fees shall be announced to and payable before graduation by senior students in
each graduation year.
MODE OF PAYMENT
STRICLY All fees will be deposited directly into ZANACO Bank Bill Muster Platform using the Rusangu
University online student management system. Direct Debit Credit and Clearing (DDACC)
transactions or bank transfers are not allowed on the bill muster platform.
ADJUSTMENT OF FEES
Rusangu University through the University Council reserves the right to adjust tuition and fees from
time to time.
